DesiCrave — B2C Terms & Conditions

(For Website Orders — International Consumers)

1. General Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made on the DesiCrave website by consumers (“Customer”). By placing an order, the Customer agrees to these Terms fully.

2. Products & Availability

We offer packaged Indian grocery and food products, compliant with FSSAI and relevant export packaging standards.

Product descriptions, images, and weights displayed are accurate to the best of our knowledge.

Stock availability is subject to change.

3. Pricing, Taxes & Currency

All prices listed are inclusive of product cost and standard packaging.

Shipping charges, VAT, import duties, and local taxes — where applicable — will be shown during checkout or payable upon delivery depending on destination regulations.

4. Ordering & Payment

• Orders are confirmed only after successful online payment.
• Payments must be made through secure payment methods available on our site (cards, online wallets, payment links).
• In case of payment failure, the order will automatically be cancelled.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order suspected of fraud or incorrect pricing.

5. Shipping & Delivery

• We ship globally using trusted logistics partners.
• Shipping timelines will vary based on region and will be displayed during checkout.
• Tracking details will be shared once the order is dispatched.
• Customs delays are outside our control, but we will assist wherever possible.

Delivery will be considered fulfilled upon handover to the shipping partner.

6. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

For food safety reasons, returns are accepted only for damaged, spoiled, wrongly delivered, or severely delayed shipments.

Conditions:

• Customer must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence such as photos/videos of product and packaging must be provided.

After review:

• Replacement or store credit may be issued.
• Refunds will be processed only in exceptional and verified cases.

No refunds will be applicable for:

• Products opened or partly consumed
• Change of preference/taste
• Minor packaging dents that do not affect product integrity

Refund timeline: 5–7 business days after approval.

7. Allergens & Safety

• Ingredients and allergen information are provided on the packaging.
• Customers with allergies should review labels carefully before consumption.
• DesiCrave is not liable for reactions caused by undisclosed allergies.

8. Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery address is accurate.
• Comply with local import laws and duties (if applicable for destination country).
• Provide accurate contact and delivery instructions.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content—including logos, product images, and design—is the property of DesiCrave and may not be used without written consent.

10. Privacy Policy & Data Usage

• By submitting personal information during purchase, the Customer consents to processing for order fulfilment, service improvement, and legal compliance.
• Sensitive payment data is processed securely by certified payment gateways.

11. Limitation of Liability

DesiCrave will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including customs holds, weather disruptions, or force majeure.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute related to online payments, chargebacks, or refunds made through our payment gateway (e.g., Stripe) will be handled per the payment gateway’s dispute and resolution policies, in addition to applicable consumer protection laws.

Where legal intervention is required, the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, after both parties make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably.
